Yes, Fedex was clueless today. He was ace-less for almost 2 sets ! (Well when have we seen Fedex do that bad ?) Nothing went right today for Fedex. Murray looked way better and in form. So it will be Djokovic vs Murray.
According to the history books, in the matches played between Murray and Federer, the player who lost the first set went on to lose the match except the 2012 Wimbledon when Federer won. Fedex lost the first set 6-4 and his first serves weren’t of top quality. But Fedex has been No.1 for no stupid reason, the world No.2 came back strongly in the second set and won it in the tie breaker 7-6.

He had almost a double aces than Fedex. Fedex tried everything, backhand, forehand, drop shots but nothing worked for him. It was Murray’s day out. Fedex was 2 sets down and he had to win the 4th set to stay in the game. And he did, he came back exceptionally well. He served some beautiful aces to win take the set to tiebreaker, and won the set 7-6.
After managing to take the game into 5th set, fedex looked exhausted. And Murray taking advantage of that, took the set 4-1 initially. Fedex made lot of forced errors and handed the match to Murray who won the set 6-2.
The final score line said – 6-4,6-7,6-3,6-7,6-2 as Fedex missed out on another grand slam title.
The final’s line up being Azarenka vs Li Na and Djokovic vs Murray.So will it be a repeat telecast of last year’s US Open final ?? or will we see Djokovic win this time ?
