Mustache trouble for the Aussies

The Dilli-di-Mooch has created a lot  of trouble for the Aussies today at Mohali. To such an extent that there are troll images depicting that Clarke must gift Mickey Arthur a Mustache !

Shikhar Dhawan couldn’t have asked for anything better than this on a debut. Mind blasting innings and looking good for a double on debut ! His elegant cover drives, square cuts and the dancing down the pitch shots has certainly proved that he has a lot of potential.

He along with Murali Vijay created havoc at the PCA, finishing Day 3 at 275/0 at a whooping run rate of almost 5 rpo ! Test mein T20 ka maza ! We can’t forget the Mustache-twisting saga that continued on the field with Dhawan and Bhajji getting into the act, then spreading to the audience and finally the camera man also joined them !

The start of the day certainly belonged the Aussies. Steven Smith and Mitchel Starc played gem of an innings to help Australia cross the 400 run mark. With 8 wickets down for a mere 251, the duo put on a great partnership. Unlucky Starc missed out on his maiden Test Century, courtesy fine bowling by Ishant and a low diving catch by Dhoni.

Now things seems to be much clear. After the fist day being washed out, chances of a result were dim, but after a wonderful day a result seems probable. Let’s hope Vijay gets to his century while Dhawan makes his first double century tomorrow (fingers crossed)
