Victoria Azarenka – my favorite has given me a reason to smile today 🙂 ! She has successfully defended her Australian Open title. She has been playing exceptionally well in the recent past and we can see the results. In my last post, I had predicted Azarenka the winner and here she is !! 🙂
The stunning Victoria Azarenka. Courtesy: shrewdtennisLi Na gave her a tough fight in the first set. Azarenka lost the first set 6-4. In the second set, Azarenka was seen in top notch form. With some great forehands, and cross courts she won the set 6-4. So it was even stevens now.
Both the players had committed a lot of forced and unforced errors. By doing so they gifted points to each other. The third and final set started well for Azarenka as she broke Li Na’s serve and played some exceptional tennis and successfully defended her Australian Open title. The scoreline read 4-6,6-4,6-3.
