Yes, Why spare Juveniles ? Why ? I strongly stand by this and feel that punishments should be given based on the degree of the crime and not the age of the convict. It has been confirmed by the Juvenile Justice Board that the 6th accused(main accused I would say) is a juvenile and hence would be given special treatment !
What wrong with the court ? It’s not fair that juveniles get away with a less harsh punishment. We seriously need to clearly define as to who is a Juvenile ? Anyone under the age of 18 cannot simply be called a juvenile in any case. The laws should be amended according to the degree of a crime. ie:
If a person has committed a theft, he could be considered a juvenile but when a person brutally rapes someone, he’s not a juvenile ?
I just want to convey that juveniles committing such heinous crimes shouldn’t be treated in any different manner what so ever happens. He should be treated based on the degree and nature of the crime committed !!
When I was 16, I was pretty aware of the fact that what a Rape is. Moreover, a 16 year old isn’t blind/deaf to see that a damn woman is screaming in front of him. Indian laws are awesome once we shift the calendars back to 1920s.
Yes, today even kids know what rape is. Anyone who does such crime must be given a harsh punishment. No matter whether he is a 60 year old man or a 16 year old boy !!
