I keep on checking out apps on the Google store. I usually look for productivity, utility, news apps as there are of my interest. Well, I’ve been using this app extensively and am in love with it. The app that I am talking about is Flipboard. This is a very famous and highly rated app available for Android and iOS.
What this app does is that it gathers news from everywhere and puts it them in a nice, cool way for you to read. One can add the news sources, interests based on his liking. For example I like cricket, so I have added Indian Cricket Team, BCCI etc. Similarly for news I have subscribed to NDTV and TOI.
It also has option to link it to your Facebook or Twitter app so that it can gather all the posts, tweets by your friends / followers. The UI is very close to the Windows 8 Metro UI. If one wants to read about all that is happening in a quick time, this app is a just for them.
It has become a routine for me to spend at least 30 minutes on this app. It give a complete overview of all that is happening in the areas I like. I usually use it for news and cricket, but it indeed is a great app !
