Naomi Patisserie – Finding Gastronomic Bliss & Peace – Review

Most of us today are on the lookout for eateries that offer not only good food but calming vibes as well. Finding such places within the city limits might be difficult in other cities but not in Hyderabad.

In fact, some of Hyderabad’s iconic cafes are located in the heart of the city and are a perfect mix of peace and taste. One such addition to the already illustrious list is Naomi Patisserie & Bakehouse located in Jubilee Hills. I was recently invited for a meetup at Naomi and got to experience the place.

As it had already generated a word of mouth in the foodie community, I had to go here. Better late than never as they say! In this post, I’ll share my experience of spending time at Naomi Patisserie and trying their delicious offerings amidst the calming vibes of the place.

Peace & Tranquility at Naomi Patisserie

Tucked away in a corner in the plush area of Jubilee Hills, Naomi Patisserie and Bakehouse opened its doors in December 2022. Since then, it’s become the talk of the town. Like some other cafes in the city, Naomi is a bungalow turned cafe in one of the quieter localities of Jubilee Hills. To give you Hyderabadis a little more context about the location, it’s located in the same lane as Tiger Lilly Bistro that leads to Mahamudra.

It’s fairly easy to spot Naomi, thanks to the huge signage. There’s valet service available along with a decent parking facility. You can feel the calming vibes even if you stand at the doorstep of the eatery. You can choose to sit outside and soak in the peace and tranquility or you can sit inside the cozy cafe that gives out Greeky vibes. I’d prefer to sit outside any day.

There’s also their iconic Buddha statue that just adds to the vibes of the place. Whether you’re coming alone or with friends and family, they have multiple seating options. You can even organize small get-togethers and meetups.

Lastly, Naomi Patisserie is the brainchild of Chef Nikitha and Akash. Ex-ITC chefs decided to move out of their corporate jobs and follow their passion. As Nikitha said “She brings the sugar while he brings the salt“, the couple is just hitting it out of the park with their new baby. Interestingly, she also said they wanted to name their first child Naomi which happened to be this patisserie. Follow Naomi Patisserie on Instagram to know more about them and their doggo too!

Savoring Baked Delicacies

Just like the place, Naomi Pattiserie and Bakehouse’s menu too aims to deliver flavors that are calm and blissful. The menu has Meditarrian flavors along with Mexican and Italian. A good mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, the menu is laced with the goodness of wholesome baked dishes. Not only that, there’s a decent enough beverage and dessert menu (all baked in-house) along with a special cake menu.

It was a sunny afternoon, but thanks to the greenery around and the cool winds that made us comfortable. Since we were there for a meetup, we had a pretty well-laid-out menu. It had Mediterranean appetizers and salads. Hummus and Falafels, Bruschettas with Tomatoes and Mushrooms, Tabouleh, their classic Sourdough Pizza along with Sticky Toffee Pudding.

We started our meetup with a heavenly Naomi’s Signature Cold Chocolate drink. The one we had was a Tiramisu cold chocolate which was delicious and refreshing. Just the perfect balance of Coffee and Chocolate. Hummus and Falafels were pretty much on point and the Hummus had the punch. Falafels too were crispy yet moist.

There were two types of Bruchettas, one with cherry Tomatoes and the other with Mushrooms. I like the Mushrooms one better but the toasted bread was on point. However, my favorite was the Tabouleh which was served with skewered Paneer. It was so comforting and the flavors of cucumbers, garlic, and Yoghurt were just perfect.

The highlight of Naomi as Chef Nikitha says is their Sourdough Pizzas. Their Naples-style, wood-fired Pizzas are made from double-fermented dough that’s not only good on taste but also on your gut. We had a couple of them and both were spot on. The crust was baked to perfection and the choice of toppings was pretty good. The fresh ingredients just elevate the dish.

I soaked in the delicious food and the calming vibes as all of us shared our travel stories with each other. We ended our meal with the Sticky Toffee Pudding. Served with Vanilla bean ice cream, this was nice. I guess the Toffee flavor is something that I don’t enjoy much. It was a good preparation though, just that I didn’t like it.

Visit Naomi To Experience Flavours & Tranquility

Cafes and restaurants are coming up across Hyderabad but not all come close to what Naomi is doing. Doing true justice to its name, Naomi Pattiserie, and Bakehouse is a perfect amalgamation of tranquility and flavors. The calming vibes are perfect to spend time with your loved one or just relaxing and unwind. It’s also perfect to work from.

Their menu too has dishes that are flavourful and laced with love. The Pizzas are worth a try and so are their other Mediterranean offerings. Not to forget their desserts and signature drinks which are perfect for all times. Just that I’m staying too far from the city, else I would have surely been here multiple times and spent my day working.

That’s about it for this post, let me know how you liked it. If you’ve not visited Naomi, it’s time you do. You’ll not be disappointed. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below, tweet to me at @Atulmaharaj, DM on Instagram, or Get In Touch.
