Wondering why the title 365th Women’s Day ? Because everyday is Women’s Day, so here’s my tribute to all the women.
Yesterday, while listening to RJ Naved and RJ Jassi on Radio Mirchi, Delhi, a great question was raised : What are the places where you don’t find women ? I.e they are everywhere, be it a bouncer at parties or at petrol bunks, they have shown that they are ‘NOT’ equal, but ‘SUPERIOR’ to men. To which Naved replied with a beautiful answer: The only change that is required is replacing the word ‘Chairman’ with ‘ChairWoman’. Which is definitely true.
Be it any sector, any corporate house, women have ‘toppled’ men from the senior executive positions the held for a long time now. Some studies even suggested that women are better at managing anything – be it a 1bhk apartment or a billion dollar enterprise. The likes of Indira Nooyi, Kiran Majumdar Shaw, Chanda Kochhar, Shikha Sharma to name a few are the leading ladies of some of the most prestigious brands.
Some of the other women who have placed India on the world sporting map are Mary Kom, Saina Nehwal, Anjum Chopra, Deepika Kumari to name a few. I wish I could write everyone’s name here, I bet it would definitely take my the whole day ! While the beautiful ladies aka ‘Apsara’ of the entertainment industry are well know in every corner of the world. So we see, women are everywhere and without them world wouldn’t be what we see today.
On this International Women’s Day I feel highly obliged to all the beautiful women who have made a mark in my life. A loving, caring teacher in class II, a teacher – my ‘mother’ – who made my stay comfortable while I was in hostel and ensured I did well in Maths :P, my lovely English teachers who corrected me at all points to make me able to write this post error free, and all the other teachers. I’m glad to have been taught by the best. Not only teachers, but my friends too without them I wouldn’t have been what I am today.
So once again, wishing you a 365th Women’s Day. A woman who is happy with your actions, is one of the most wonderful things that can happen to anyone. So Respect, Love and Care for the woman and see your world change !
You won’t find a woman in a gents’ toilet. You won’t find a woman in a monastery. Hey women aren’t all over the place ( thank God!)
