I knew this was coming, but wasn’t sure when would this happen. I remember inquiring about the iPad Mini on Flipkart and they said, we don’t deliver *this* product to NCR. That time I thought because its an iPad, they might not be delivering but today they have cleared the air, they won’t deliver good worth over 10K to Uttar Pradesh.
Well, we can’t blame Flipkart on this issue. The kind of people here, anything can happen. One can imagine what the company would feel when they get an order from this region – will the product be delivered safely or will it be siphoned off mid-way ?? Will the consignee accept the order or not ?? will we get the amount or not ?? There are many questions that might have been bothering the organization.
Flipkart has already set a benchmark in Online Shopping in India. To keep their business viable, the shipping rates increased from 200Rs to 500Rs now. Well the company is doing everything right to woo the customer. By the speedy shipping (thanks to Blue Dart and other logistic services) the goods are received well within the promised time frame.
My experience of shopping at Flipkart has been okaish. Most of the times, I had to call the customer care to track my products as it has happened that the product didnt reach within the specified time frame. Once again I don’t blame Flipkart, they might be reluctant in sending the products to UP.
Well, we can just hope for one thing, the 10K value should remain same and not come down !!
