The White Rabbit Review – Latest Party Destination in Hyderabad

While the tag of “The city that never sleeps” is associated with Mumbai, Hyderabad isn’t quite far behind. A few years ago there was absolutely no nightlife in the city. However, over the years the F&B industry saw the need for places that help the IT laborers unwind after work. After work parties came in vouge giving rise to a number of pubs, lounges, and party destinations in Hyderabad.

Some of them that I’ve been to are 36 Down Town, Carpe Diem, to name a few. And one of the newest part destinations in Hyderabad is The White Rabbit. I was there last weekend and this is going to be my The White Rabbit Review post.

The upbeat ambiance at The White Rabbit

Located right across the Peddamma Gudi Hyderabad Metro station in Jubilee Hills, The White Rabbit is easy to spot. In fact, the metro stations in this area is a boon as it makes a lot of places in Jubilee Hills easily accessible. It’s next to the Titan Showroom, Rayalaseema Ruchulu. Located on the top floor, I expected a rooftop place but it wasn’t.

However, the upbeat ambiance at The White Rabbit will surely lift you up. There are two separate seating areas and a mezzanine seating area alongside a small stage. There’s a bar counter right opposite the music stage which has some of Hyderabad’s best bands playing. That night we had Aatish dishing out to amazing Bollywood songs.

The place has a typical lounge ambiance which will be liked by all. It could be a little brighter in terms of lighting though. But again that’s a personal opinion. In terms of safety precautions, the White Rabbit had all their servers wearing masks and had hand sanitizers on each table.

Though there’s no restriction on the number of people inside the restaurant. While you can choose to wear a mask if you want to but most of them there wasn’t. Overall, the ambiance at The White Rabbit is lively and the live music just adds the groove.

Food & Drinks at The White Rabbit Review

Before I talk about this, let me tell you that I’m a pure vegetarian, a teetotaler, and a non-smoker. Hence I didn’t have any hard drinks and of course no non-veg food also. So this will be a complete Saatvik food review of The White Rabbit 😉

We started off with Dragon Paneer, Crispy Corn, Magic Mushroom, and Paneer Tikka. Dragon Paneer was a variation of the desi Chilly Paneer. It was average on taste. The Paneer Cubes were nicely coated in the flavors but the dish lacked the punch. Once a celebrity, the Crispy Corn has entered the menus of most of the places nowadays.

The crispy corn here had bell peppers along with red chilly and pepper garnishing. If there was one stand out starter for vegetarian, it was the Paneer Tikka. Paneer was fresh and cooked to perfection.

For the main course, we had a vegetarian Thai Rice bowl. The bowl was laced with exotic veggies like Broccoli, Bell Peppers, Spring Onions along with Paneer and Rice. The veggies were crunchy and had a very subtle flavor. The rice (I felt) was a Schezwan Rice and me not being a fan of Schezwan found it to be average. However, the combination of veggies with rice was spot on.

They have quite a few varieties of bowls from Italian, Thai, Desi, and even Nasi Goreng all of which are available in vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

Apart from the stage, the bar counter was one of the most happening places of the evening. How can The White Rabbit review blog post not talk about drinks? Mocktails, since this is a Saatvik The White Rabbit review 😉 The bartender was busy mixing and serving some exotic drinks.

Being a teetotaler I tried a few mocktails of different flavors ranging from orange, cranberry, and a mix of pineapple & guava. The drinks I must say were perfect and complimented the groovy atmosphere. Overall, a good drink with groovy music is all you need to unwind!

Here to change the way Hyderabad parties

The White Rabbit Hyderabad is a wonderful destination to unwind and chill. The crowd is good and the party just becomes happening as the sun goes down. Around 10 PM is when The White Rabbit is most happening with everyone grooving to the live music with their drinks.

I would totally recommend the place for drinks and their upbeat ambiance. The live music brings the groove to the place. In terms of food, The White Rabbit can surely do better, especially on the vegetarian food. Also, the service can be a tad slower when the crowd is in, so I’d advise placing your orders in advance.
