It was just another Sunday, with the normal routine on the cards. I’m usually OUT OF HOME [OOH – don’t mistake it for Out of Home Advertising ! 😛] on weekends and last weekend was no special. After some work, me and my friends decided to have lunch at a restaurant. Amongst the three of us, I was the only one who ate Vegetarian. I never mention any name in my posts, but due to my friends insisting me, here I’m mentioning their names. Ankur Puri and Abhishek Unnikrishnan (happy both of you ! 😛 ;)) decided to visit this place called Royal Vaishali Restaurant situated near the sec 18 Metro Station in Noida.

Royal Vaishali Resturant is situated right in the heart of Atta Market and right below the Sec 18 Metro station. Well from the looks, the place isn’t so royal though. Moving on to the ambiance, its a small restaurant with a max seating capacity of about 20-30 people. Thank God this place has a AC ! Moving on to the food, well both my friends being non vegetarians ordered the ever-famous-non-vegetarian-delight – Butter Chicken. Me being the only one left out, I ordered the ever-famous-vegetarian-delight – Paneer Tikka Masala. You can click here for the Menu. The service was kind of slow, but maybe due to the extra rush as we visited during the peak lunch hours. The food was served hot and fresh. I cant speak much about the Chicken, so here’s how the Paneer was ! 😛 The dish contained a good amount of paneer. Right amount of spices, not very spicy, not very tangy. It was a balanced dish. All of this along with Garlic Naan was really finger-lickin-good ! So below are my ratings :

• Ambiance : 5/10
• Service: 7/10
• Value for Money: 8/10

All in all the Royal Vaishali Restaurant is a good place to eat. If you are willing to eat at a place not so good looking with posh interiors and focusing much on the food, this is the right place for you. For less than 500Rs, we three adults were full ! Thanks to Ankur and Abhishek for bringing me to this place. Hope you guys take me new food dens soon !! So do try this place, and share your views.
