Preview – India vs England 3rd ODI

Ranchi, the hometown of Dhoni or Captain Marvel or Mahi as he is know locally. This will be the first time, the Indian captain will be facing the home crowd. (Some of you might say his home ground is chennai !, In that context all stadiums are his home grounds !) Lots of people will be flocking to the stadium to see the local boy hit huge sixes and witness him live.

After being leveled the series at 1-1 in the last match, the Indian team seem to be hot favorites for today’s game. The pitch is said to be a seam friendly one. So its important for the Indian top order to click. The pitch might suit the English seamers, the weather might not just be right for them.(Its apparently hotter in Ranchi than in Manchester !)

Most likely the Indian team will remain unchanged from their previous match. (Until some one has a stomach upset or flu !) With Shami Ahmed and Bhuvaneshvar Kumar along with seasoned Ishant Sharma, the Indian bowling attack looks on track. On the other hand, with Steven Finn, Dernbach and Treadwell, the English bowling have no loop holes in their attack.

Let’s see the local crowd get a glimpse of Mahi smash huge sixes and get a good score. The pitch being new, can’t say much as to who would win the match. But with high confidence it seems that India might just get past England in today’s game.
