After effects of the General Budget

Well, the general budget has been successfully declared by the Finance minister. He did what he felt right, be it for the country or the vote bank, the budget did things right to get India back on the economic map and to bring down the fiscal deficit and to curb inflation.

The story doesn’t stop here, today the prices of Petrol have been hiked by 1.40 Rs. per liter  There were seriously no indications about this, but this has come as a huge blow for the aam aadmi. Excluding taxes, the fuel will now cost Rs. 70.46 in Delhi, Rs. 77.99 in Kolkata, Rs. 77.29 in Mumbai and Rs. 73.57 in Chennai.

I don’t know about the prices in Noida, but this will surely affect my budget. My monthly expense for petrol will certainly shoot up now. But lets see how much will it affect me.

This is not the first time, this has happened but this surely isn’t the last time. I’m sure that this will continue on and on… We can just hope that this prices don’t rise steeply !
